Act II Improv is a performance troupe that believes in giving back to the community. Over its six-year history they have helped raised thousands of dollars for worthy non-profit charity partners in the Bay Area. They accomplish this though their performance vehicle called “Improv for Good”. “Improv for GOOD” is an improvised theatrical production.

The purpose of the show on November 28th, 2021, is to raise money and awareness for our charity partner, Dorothy Day House at The Back Room in Berkeley.

The first half of the show will be several what we call short form games which are performed with more of a scene-based twist whenever possible — all made up from your suggestions. This later portion of the show features longer scenes that may be humorous or dramatic. We try to keep it “M” for Mature audiences but sometimes it leans to “R.”

About Dorothy Day House: Founded in 1992, Dorothy Day House has been a consistent source of support, comfort, and safety for the unhoused in Berkeley. Our mission is to provide a caring presence, shelter, and sustenance to those in need among us. To learn more about our mission and services, please visit our website at: dorothydayhouseberkeley.org

A note about COVID-19 safety measures: Proof of full vaccination is required for entry, as well as a mask. You must have had your second vaccination two weeks prior to the show.
